Investors migrate funds to the US housing market

Political upheavals and fiscal risk often drive investors away from Brazil. This, coupled with the need to seek greater diversity for their portfolios, has led many people to seek out the American real estate market, which is proving to be very promising and resilient.

In an interview with the GRI Club, Ricardo Almendra, CEO of RBR Asset, comments on the manager’s performance in the sector, with an eye on lower volatility and also a low risk of vacancy, especially in New York. He also believes that the multifamily model, more popular abroad, has room to mature here in Brazil.
